A young beauty pageant winner has had her title taken away from her after she was seen brawling in the street with another woman.
Disgraced winner Thayssa Florindo, 20, was crowned Miss Iuna 2022 and was competing in another famed Brazilian competition, the Miss Universe Espirito Santo 2023.
But after a brutal video of the brawl surfaced last week, the law student was disqualified from the contest and stripped of her old title.
In the video, one of the brawlers was seen looking into the camera and saying: "I hit her hard, I'll hit her hard again. Try me and I'll hit another."

Florindo later confessed to being one of the women in the footage, but told local media that she was not drunk at the time, "just very angry for being attacked with a drink in my face".
Florindo told local media that the unnamed other woman, who used to be her friend, falsely accused her of being romantically involved with her ex-boyfriend.
The fight is understood to have taken place in Ibatiba, Espirito Santo, in the southwest of Brazil, on March 31.
Florindo’s victim, who remains anonymous, claims the former beauty contest winner assaulted and threatened her, giving her version of events to beauty pageant officials, resulting in the law student being stripped of her title.

She added that she has filed a police report and a lawsuit against Florindo over the attack late last month.
The unnamed woman said that Florindo has a history of attacking people, saying: "Thayssa is not easy. She didn't lose the title for nothing. She has messed with many girls, especially on Twitter.
"On the day of the fight she had said to talk… While we were talking, she threw a beer can at me and I threw it back at her, and that turned into a big mess and I can't explain what happened anymore.”

A spokesperson for Miss Universe Espirito Santo confirmed to local media that Florindo had been disqualified for breaking a clause in the contract she had signed.
The clause reads: "The candidate may be expelled from the contest or have their title cancelled if the candidate commits any situation that generates violence, non-compliance with the standard ethics related to interpersonal relationships, or illegal acts during the fulfilment of the title."
