Earth’s next-door neighbour has proved to be a hotspot for alien-hunting activity, with relentless theories of life on Mars. UFO enthusiasts are constantly searching for evidence of life on Mars, and one conspiracy theorist believes he has found the proof.
Prominent conspiracy theorist Scott C Waring was browsing through images from NASA’s Curiosity Rovers when he spotted what he believes are two pyramids.
The sharp-looking rocks are fuzzy in the distance, but following Mr Waring’s analysis, he says they are monuments built by an intelligent species.
However, he added that because the monuments are so small, the species which created them must also be smaller.
Mr Waring wrote on his blog ET Database: “I found two ancient pyramids on Mars today in a NASA photo.
“Both pyramids are close to one another and they both have entrances facing the NASA rover camera. They look ancient but has survived the test of time.
“Both pyramids are about three meters tall by five meters wide. A smaller species than us humans for sure, but nevertheless an intelligent species.”
However, sceptics and NASA would say the pyramids and other similar findings are just the effects of pareidolia – a psychological phenomenon when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects or shapes in patterns or textures such as a rock surface.
This would mean the pyramids and other similar findings are simply rocks in a familiar-looking shape.
Mr Waring believes he has previously found more pyramids on Mars.
The UFO hunted claimed it is evidence that aliens traversed the solar system, building pyramids on the planet’s and are even responsible for creating them on Earth.
Some believe that Egypt’s pyramids were built by aliens, as the constructions were erected by a civilisation that had no knowledge of the wheel and were technologically limited, compared to modern standards.
Mr Waring said when he found similar pyramid-like structures: “I found a giant three sided pyramid on Mars in a Gigapan photo today.

“The pyramid has one smooth side, which is probably the original outer coating that was made for it, but the other two sides have severely eroded.
“Pyramids have been found all over the world on many continents and most of them were created at about the same time.
“The mystery of pyramids have lead to speculation that they were created by extra terrestrials that were trying to settle in an area and follow their cultural beliefs.”
