Aliens are coming, maybe, and when they do you’ll know just how to spot them thanks to your Daily Star.
We asked artificial intelligence imaging tool Midjourney to create detailed imaging of what it thinks aliens will look like when, or if, they are discovered. Interestingly, it reckoned that the aliens could look slightly different depending on when it is they were to finally make it here.
Midjourney responded to questions about what aliens “will look like if they're discovered” and drew spooky snaps for their arrival at two different time points. Three of the aliens it came up with were under the proviso of them arriving on Earth in 2050, while the final one looked at what aliens would look like if they arrived in 2100, 77 years from now.

The drawings do seem to bear the hallmarks of sci-fi aliens. They are all slimy, grey and skinny with huge eyes and massive heads. One, in particular, was alarmingly human-like.
One of the aliens that the AI predicted could arrive in 2050 looked like it had strong similarities to a human. It had a proportionate nose, mouth and eyes much like ours.
The alien had a protruding back to the head, much like the mysterious figures unveiled in Mexico last month. It also has a long, sinewy neck, human collar bones and small, defined muscles and gaps where the tendons protrude out of the skin. What gives it away slightly is its grey, slimey-looking skin.
However, this could be a problem. If the AI thinks they could look this much like a human, it raises fear as to whether we would even be able to spot them. The alien it predicted from 2100 also had features not dissimilar to humans, with a few strands of white hair hanging down from the back of its head, although in true alien fashion had enlarged eyes and a whopping dome.
One of the aliens, from the group that was predicted for 2050, looked a lot more insect-like. It had strange tendrils coming out of the side of its head and looked like a predatory and terrifying human eater.
That of course might be an unfair analysis. It might be lovely, but in contrast to some of the others, its lack of a nose or mouth and Medusa-like hair is a little unsettling. At least it might struggle to eat you.
