AceShowbiz –Travis Scott (II) is facing a lawsuit from the organisers of a California festival that was cancelled after he allegedly pulled out.
In documents obtained by The Blast website, they allege Travis, 26, signed a $400,000 (£314,000) contract to perform at the event in March (19) and had been paid $217,500 (£170,000) upfront.
They claim that shortly after they paid him the deposit on 3 December, the “ZEZE” hitmaker’s team pulled out of the 75-minute gig with no explanation, forcing them to cancel the festival.
On the same day they state they paid Scott, organisers announced on Facebook that the event would not be going ahead due to an unnamed headliner letting them down.
“Due to a last minute cancellation by our festival headliner, we have no other choice than to cancel the 2019 Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience,” their post read.
In their suit, the festival organisers accuse Travis and his team of stealing their money and refusing to return it.
