Robbie Williams has been banned from fighting his long-term rival Liam Gallagher – by his wife.
Ayda Field, mother to the former Take That star’s three kids, stepped in as peacemaker.
She spoke as the feud, which began in the 1990s, went up a gear after Robbie, 45, talked about a YouTube-style bout to settle things.

Robbie responded: “This is the festive season to all men, even Liam Gallagher.
“Thank God we’ve steered this tanker around to where it should be. I am now the spirit of Christmas too, like you.”
Robbie had approached a promoter to arrange a YouTube-style bout with Liam, 47, similar to Olajide William Olatunji’s win over Logan Paul.
