Old Dominion Forced to Postpone Three Shows to Let Frontman Get Leg Surgery

AceShowbiz -Country stars Old Dominion have been forced to postpone a trio of upcoming shows to allow frontman Matthew Ramsey to undergo surgery on his leg.

“Postponing concert dates was not the way I planned on starting 2019…,” Ramsey shares in a statement obtained by Billboard.com.

“Unfortunately, the only way I can get back to the old me is to fix some things surgically. I want to be able to put on the best show I possibly can for you all and, in order to do that, I’ve got to take care of myself. I thank you all in advance for understanding, and I look forward to making a full recovery so that we all rock together. See you soon!”.

The affected dates on the 2019 “Make It Sweet Tour” were originally due to take place between February 14 and 16 in Ontario, Canada, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. They have each been rescheduled and will now be held between March and June.

Ramsey and his bandmates will still kick off the trek on January 18 in Chicago, Illinois, and perform until February 9, before resuming the shows on February 27.
