Migos and YoungBoy Never Broke Again released their instant-hit track “Need It” back in May, and since then, fans have been expecting a visual to go along with it. The Atlanta trio alongside the LA rapper has now unveiled the official music video for the song that samples 50 Cent’s thumping instrumentation for “Get In My Car.”
The music video features a slew of rapid-fire sequences with some ensembles and props paying homage to the 1996 cult film Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. Offset evokes Marlon Wayans’ drug dealer character Loc Dog as he dons a condom and pacifier in his hair while riding in a lowrider with NBA YoungBoy. Takeoff and Huncho, on the other hand, are spotted at a pool party while Quavo flaunts his ‘90s-looking fit to Saweetie who is riding on the back of his bike.
“Need It” is part of Migos’ highly-anticipated Culture series. YoungBoy is also set to release his new album Top on September 11 that will ostensibly include his collaboration with Nicki Minaj.
Watch the music video for “Need It” above and then keep the momentum going with Pop Smoke’s latest posthumous music video for “Mood Swings.”
