Meghan Markle and Prince Harry fans flocked in their masses to defend the pair after nasty keyboard warriors vented that they'd be shutting down their Netflix accounts, following the announcement of their huge deal.
Unkind comments started to surface on Twitter after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that they will make documentaries, films, scripted and kids' programmes with the streaming giant.
It wasn't long before an abundance of fans piled in to protect the former royal couple, harshly telling haters "Prince Harry and Meghan don't need you".
Taking on internet trolls, a flume of followers took it upon themselves to use Twitter to hit back.
One fan wrote: "Guess what nobody cares wether you cancel Netflix or not Meghan and harry will keep on shining… they don't need you they have us! They have the world."
Another fumed: "Prince Harry and Meghan don't need you.
"If Netflix agreed to sign a contract with Harry and Meghan, the Netflix director knows the positive impact and popularity of Harry and Meghan. We don't care if you look where you don't."
While a third stated the obvious, adding: "Harry and Meghan are GLOBAL STARS. They don't need you to be successful."
After the reported lucrative agreement with Netflix was unveiled, Twitter was ablaze with comments, with some streaming users even threatening to throw in the towel on their monthly subscriptions.
One fan quipped: "Cancelled my Netflix today. When you cancel, they ask why. I checked 'Other', and wrote, 'The signing of Meghan and Harry'."
A second added: "That's an excellent reason not to have Netflix. I never thought Harry would sell out!"
While a third exclaimed: "Time to cancel the Netflix contract with the news about Meghan and Harry."
Meghan and Harry's fee for the arrangement has been kept tight lipped, although it has been suggested that the pair could expect to cash in a whopping £75million.
The deal with American technology and media services provider, also mirrors Meghan's previous comments that she will not return to acting.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Meghan and Harry said: "Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.
"As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us."
