Lewis Capaldi has shared a cryptic post on his official Twitter account after his ex Paige Turley claimed on Love Island that his chart-topping song Somebody You Loved was all about her.
The pair dated for a year after meeting at Motherwell College, and it is alleged their relationship took a nosedive when Paige cheated on the singing sensation with his best friend.
Paige entered the Love Island villa on Sunday and told other contestants that the song was about her and apologised for being a "b***h" to him.
The next morning Lewis, 23, shared a cryptic post with his 873,000 followers with a picture of himself looking shocked.

The duo met during their A-levels when they were both studying music together, but it was previously reported she had a dalliance with Garry Greig – one of Lewis' closest mates.
An insider claims her blossoming romance with Garry, who appeared on X Factor in 2016, caused her to dump Lewis.

Lewis wrote in response that he "f*****g" hoped the TV bosses would play his top song because of the "cash".
