Kid Cudi has officially announced that his seventh studio album entitled Man On The Moon III: The Chosen will be releasing on December 11. Comprised of 18 songs, Mr. Rager’s newest project enlists features from the late Pop Smoke, Skepta, Trippie Redd, and Phoebe Bridgers.
The record serves as the third piece of the Cleveland-born artist’s Man on the Moon trilogy series which first kicked off back in 2009 with The End of Day and was followed up with The Legend of Mr. Rager in 2010.
To coincide with the announcement of the album, Cudi has also dropped released a teaser video fittingly named “THE TRILOGY CONTINUES”. In the dark and eerie 21-second clip, the hip hop creative is shown overlooking a city skyline at sundown, before eventually transitioning to sounds of police sirens and the artist drinking, smoking and crawling on the ground in a very Jordan Belfort in Wolf of Wall Street-type manner.
Outside of the Man on the Moon series, Cudder has focused on a few features throughout 2020 including the record “A Sweeter Place” with Selena Gomez, a link-up with Travis Scott for “THE SCOTTS” as well as a collaboration with Eminem dubbed “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady”.
Man On The Moon III: The Chosen is now available for pre-order here, and you can peep the album’s colorful artwork executed by Sam Spratt here below.
For other music-related news, Teyana Taylor has reportedly hinted at retiring from the music industry.
