Jackass star Bam Margera has revealed that he was robbed at gunpoint following his arrival in Colombia over the weekend.
Margera used his Instagram account to tell his followers about the incident, posting a video which he captioned: ‘Robbed.’

“I’ve just arrived in Cartagena alone,” he began in the clip. ” And I took a taxi, a random one from the airport to here and I couldn’t speak Spanish, they couldn’t speak English and they translated on their phone for me to read ‘Empty your wallet’ as they put a gun on their lap to show it to me.
“So I did and I had 500 bucks, they let me go. That was weird. Welcome to Colombia.”
A couple of hours later, Margera shared another video that showed him opening a bottle of beer – although we didn’t see him drinking it – which he captioned: “Sober since January 10th, this is how you open a beer being alone, bored and robbed.”

He went on to share several short videos throughout the night, including one of him playing music and another in which he makes a phone call, apparently to his mother.
Many of his followers expressed concern for the star, with one saying: “You got this! Don’t drink! Reach out to positive people. Not the negativity of alcohol.”
Margera was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at the beginning of 2018 and later checked into rehab.
Margera starred on MTV’s Jackass between 2000 and 2002 and later starred in Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn on VH1 in 2016 too.
