Gemma Collins posts heartbreaking video of very ill parents as they fight Covid

Gemma Collins has shared an emotional clip of her seriously ill parents as they battle the coronavirus.

The 39-year-old TOWIE star begged her fans to "stay home" amid lockdown and new Tier 4 rules in the UK as she's "petrified" for her mum Joan and dad Alan.

James Argents' ex revealed yesterday that her parents have tested positive for Covid-19.

In a bid to encourage fans to stay home and follow rules, she shared a video of them which was taken last year.

In it, Alan and Joan can be seen hugging in a restaurant as a man waits on their table.

Today on her Instagram story, Gemma posted it and wrote over the clip.

She wrote: "What a difference a year makes.

"Please stay home and stay safe, thank you to everyone who has offered well wishes and help."

The star also took to her same account yesterday to share a video of her folks which she wrote over as well.

Gemma revealed: "Please please please take notice of the guidelines ! Both my parents are extremely unwell with Covid 19!

"Seeing my dad cry which he never does was a shock and say he would rather be dead then experience everything he is going through right now.

"This has totally wiped him out and it's heartbreaking.

"My mum also is extremely extremely unwell with Covid also, this is real ! And please please take notice and keep your loved ones SAFE."
