She also had some surprising backstage information about Sam Hunt.
Carly Pearce was surprised by how down to earth country stars Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt were in real life.
The singer, 28, joined Bryan, along with Hunt, on multiple stops of his "What Makes You Country XL" tour. In an interview with TooFab, Pearce spoke about being chosen by Bryan as the "right girl power" for his show and what she has learned from both male country heartthrobs.
"I think Luke is so amazing," Pearce said, "he’s an amazing businessman yet still remains very down to earth and very hilarious."
"He just seems to remain very true to him[self]."
She went on to talk about touring with Bryan, "It was so much fun, to be a part of a tour that is this size is insane. I walk out every night and I can’t believe that I’m getting to play in stadiums when one year ago I was playing in theaters. Just to see the evolution and to think that Luke [thought I] was the right ‘girl power’ to start his show, it’s really, really special."
She also had some surprising backstage information about Sam Hunt.
"He is the most soft spoken, shy human you would ever meet," Pearce said. "I mean the most polite, sweet guy, but the most shy, blends in with the room, which was very shocking for me."
"He’s a very sweet Southern gentleman," she added. "[He’s] always looking out for me."

The CMT Music Award winner, who is currently working on her sophomore album, also spoke about being a successful, female artist in country today.
"It’s my lifelong dream to be able to do what I’m doing," Pearce said. "So it feels unbelievable to be even considered one of the women in country. I don’t know that I necessarily want to change anything. I think it’s just my responsibility to keep the integrity of the genre in the way that I feel Dolly [Parton] did, and Loretta [Lynn], and Faith [Hill] did and Tricia [Yearwood] did, and Carrie Underwood. Those timeless females that you think of that kind of made an impact on country music. I want to be one of those."
Pearce is definitely on her way. The singer said her new single "Closer To You," which was just released Friday, focuses on the growth she’s made since her first album and her relationship with fellow country star Michael Ray.
"I have done a lot of growing over the last two years, especially since ‘Every Little Thing,’" she said. "And it is no mystery to any country music fans that I am in love now and I wanted to celebrate that feeling of just not being able to get enough of somebody and maybe not spending as much time with them as you hope that you could."
