Chance The Rapper Follows Lady GaGa’s Example in Pulling Out R. Kelly Collaboration

AceShowbizChance The Rapper has removed his collaboration with embattled singer R. Kelly from several streaming sites.

Kelly has denied all accusations against him, but it seems many of his famous friends and collaborators are choosing not to support him any longer, and Lady GaGa and Celine Dion recently pulled their collaborations with Kelly from online streaming and downloading sites.

Chance, real name Chancelor Bennett, has also spoken out against Kelly and apologised for working with him on 2015’s “Somewhere in Paradise”.

“(T)he truth is any of us who ever ignored the R Kelly stories, or ever believed he was being setup/attacked by the system (as black men often are) were doing so at the detriment of black women and girls,” he wrote on social media. “I apologize to all of his survivors for working with him and for taking this long to speak out.”

According to Pitchfork, Chance has wiped his Kelly collaboration track from streaming sites like Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.
