A young Glaswegian woman has been left horrified by the hotel she was assigned as a part of a Wowcher mystery holiday package.
Bryony Scott, a customer service worker, said that the hotel looked like a “ketamine den” and a “crime scene.”
After seeing the photos of the Budapest hotel she was being sent to, she commented: “If I don’t laugh I’ll f****** cry.”
She had already paid extra money to the deals company, on top of buying the £99 holiday, in order to fly from a Scottish airport.

Brits reveal their hotel horrors from filthy bedsheets to hairy plugholes
According to the Daily Record , Bryony joked that she would “not be returning alive” from her European holiday which will begin on January 24.
The holiday deal, where customers pay for a holiday without knowing their eventual location or details, left Bryony feeling excited to discover that she would be traveling to the capital of Hungary.
Having being left disgruntled at having to pay an additional £80 to fly from her home country, she was nevertheless happy with her resulting vacation.
However, when she decided to look up where she would be staying along with her friend she was horrified to see the images of the three star Hotel Fortuna.
The hotel, which is in central Budapest, was revealed to have grimy bathrooms with hair in the showers, cobwebs in the windows and, strangely, a fence next to the bed.
One reviewer on TripAdvisor, Dani R, ranted and claimed: “In the bathroom, towels dirty and in the shower curtain, hair of other people.
He claimed there were: “Spider nest, spider eggs.”
Going on, he put: “I write here in the intention that nobody ever have the same experience than I. It’s a pity for Budapest!! Really. Don’t choose Hotel Fortuna at all!”
The other reviews clearly felt similarly to Dani as the average rating clocked in at just 2.5 stars.
Katie D said: "This place is horrible […] The place needs serious updating and very serious deep cleaning.”

One reviewer did give the hotel four stars, saying: “It needs an uplift, however it's quite reasonable and good value for money with larger than normal rooms.
"The breakfast is more than sufficient. What makes this hotel so special is the efficient and kind hearted receptionist with very good mastery of English.”
Clearly, Bryony disagreed as she posted her story on social media, saying: "Right so booked the Wowcher Mystery Holiday last year.
"I go away in about 20 days. Just checked the hotel am staying at and a can confirm – it looks like a f****** ket den . Will not be returning alive.
She said: ”There's a fence next to the bed, the shower looks like a crime scene.
"If I don't laugh I'll f****** cry, I'm taking a f****** sleeping bag."
The two women contacted Weekender Breaks, the organisers of the trip, but they would not move them to a new hotel without a £60 surcharge which they decided not to pay.
Deciding to look on the bright side, Bryony wrote: "I knew I wouldn't be staying in a place like the Hilton with paying £100. But it'll be a laugh and I'm sure it'll have some good stories to tell.”
