EASTER might be three months away but Tesco shoppers who want to snap up some bargain eggs should keep an eye on the aisles from next week.
Deals group Money Saver Online is reporting that the supermarket will bring back its half price Easter egg sale in the next few days, with medium eggs reduced from £1.25 to just 75p.
Tesco launched the same half price sale this time last year which included chocolate eggs from confectionery giant Nestlé.
Some of the big-name chocs that appeared in 2019 were Aero, Smarties, Rolo and KitKat Chunky, and the sale lasted until the beginning of March.
We've asked Tesco if it can confirm when this year's Easter egg sale will drop, but the supermarket is remaining tight-lipped on the exact date.
A post on the Money Saver Online Facebook group reads: "Confirmed: Tesco half price Easter eggs next week!!
"On the 29th January last year, Tesco reduced selected Easter eggs to half price, we've heard it's happening again this year."
The post has since had almost 500 comments from excited customers who are already planning their Easter egg Tesco trip.
One person replied saying: "I'll be there."
Another said: "I’ll be popping next week to get the kids their eggs while they are cheap!"
While a fellow shopper commented: "Need to go and get all of ours."
Last year, the deal was available in all Tesco stores nationwide as well as online – it's not clear if this will be the case this time round.

As the exact sale date has yet to be confirmed, we'd recommend calling your local store before making the journey to avoid disappointment.
Tesco has just under 4,000 stores in the UK.
