Susan Sarandon sold her Chelsea penthouse to financier Raz Tirosh for just under $8 million.
Amid a troubled real estate market, the actress offloaded her huge West 15th Street duplex for the asking price of $7.9 million. The 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom co-op has views of the Empire State Building and a terrace.
This past summer, Sarandon told the Wall Street Journal she isn’t leaving the city but is instead downsizing to a smaller apartment in the area.
“I’ve always been a New Yorker and I’ll continue to be a New Yorker,” she said.
Tirosh is a trader at Jane Street Capital and is married to Hana Ginsburg, principal dancer at Ariel Rivka Dance and a director at the New York Institute of Dance and Education.
