Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess of Mary coordinated in stunning pink ensembles this evening as they hosted a banquet for King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway.
The European monarch, 83, cut a sophisticated figure in a floor-length, long-sleeved gown as she arrived at Amalienborg Castle in Copenhagen.
The white-and-pink dress featured a thick fuchsia belt which cinched the Queen – who was using a walking stick – in at the waist.
The mother-of-two finished off her elegant ensemble with an ornate crown, pearl necklace and white pointed heels.
Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary’s pink gown hugged every inch of her curves, serving to accentuate her svelte figure.

The dress, by high end Italian brand Max Mara, was previously worn by the Princess in 2017.
The striking ‘Gabriel’ gown boasts a flare silhouette, with a modern dropped waist which is punctuated with an all over jacquard design.
The mother-of-two restyled the look with a mini rose-gold clutch back that matched the deep pink hue of her nails.
She opted for two stone-set bracelets that were in tandem with the designs of her exquisite necklace and tiara.
She also wore a thick gold bangle, while for her face she donned a neutral base alongside pink blusher, eyes and lips.
Her sultry brunette locks were decorated with a side part and held upwards away from her face.
Meanwhile, her son Frederik, 55, looked dapper in a morning suit with his ceremonial medals on display.
He topped off the look with a white bow tie and black lace-up leather shoes.

During tonight’s dinner, Margrethe delivered a speech in honour of the Norwegian King and Queen who are in town for an official working visit.
Queen Sonja, 85, looked effortlessly glamorous in a vivid green floor length gown.
The monarch teamed her look with a shimmering silver clutch bag, alongside a tiara and drop down earrings both set with dark green stones.
Her husband King Harald also donned a decorated black morning suit with black leather shoes.
He was spotted in a set of crutches following a fall to the ground on the red carpet as he arrived in Denmark for the visit.

The royal couple were helped off the boat for the welcome ceremony, hosted by Denmark’s Queen.
King Harald was seen hobbling on crutches at the bottom of the red carpet.
His wife followed as they made their way up a flight of stairs lined with sailors in white uniform towards the historic building where royal guards were stood waiting.
King Harald fell to his knees just as he has reached the final step but was caught by one of the staff members.
The king spent time hospitalised in Oslo with an infection in May.
The king has been relying on crutches for a number of years. The infection in May was the second time he had been admitted to hospital over a period of six months.
