Pamela Anderson is an actress, model and activist, having catapulted to worldwide stardom following various appearances in Playboy magazine, and iconic roles in Home Improvement and Baywatch. With a career spanning over two decades so far, she’s racked up a fortune.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Pamela Anderson is worth a whopping $20million.

This is equivalent to around £14.7million.

She became a household name when she was selected to be the February 1990 Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine.

Since then, the stunning model graced the glossy pages of the magazine fifteen times, even appearing in its final nude issue in 2015.

Pamela was reportedly paid $25,000 (around £18,411) for her last appearance, but it has been said that she donated this to charity.

Evidently, the star was not struggling for money.

Playboy was formed in 1953, and has since become one of the world’s best known brands.

As well as modelling, Pamela also took the acting world by storm, playing the role of Casey Jean “C.J.” Parker in Baywatch between 1992 and 1997.

At the peak of the show, she was paid an incredible $300,000 (around £220,965) per episode, which equated to $6.6million (£4.8million) per season.

It was one of the biggest hit shows of the 90s, and Pamela became the epitome of beauty for women all over the world.

Prior to this, the actress had been in two seasons of Home Improvement.

But she also became famous for her life off screen, and her marriage to musician Tommy Lee made headlines when an intimate tape involving them was stolen and leaked by electrician Rand Gauthier.

However, despite being “the most infamous stolen celebrity artefact on the planet” according to Rolling Stone, it didn’t bring Pamela any wealth.

“I made not one dollar,” she revealed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2015.

Following this violation of privacy, Pamela Anderson was no stranger to financial disarray.

Reportedly, her taste for the finer things in life and excessive spending contributed to her financial downfall.

Indeed, in 2000, Pamela purchased a Malibu home for $1.8million, but spent a further $8million to tear it down and renovate it entirely.

According to The Mirror, Pamela’s Canada home was given “luxury renovation projects, including gold pool tiles, £33,000 sofas and a £110,000 sound system”, but these purchases eventually dried to a halt and the star had to sell her furniture to make ends meet.”

But Pamela’s focus was never the millions, and instead prioritises being a mother to her sons Brandom Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger.

She stated: “They come first, everything else is secondary. I have gone as far as putting them in my contracts with people, so I don’t miss a baseball game, I don’t miss a practice, I am there for breakfast, to drive them to school.”

Over the years, Pamela has been spotted on reality TV shows such as Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars.

And she has given a further glimpse into her life with three autobiographies, Pandemonium (1997), Star Struck (2005) and Raw (2015).

In 2018, she penned Lust for Love: Rekindling Intimacy and Passion in Your Relationship.
