A 51 year-old mum has opened up about how she quit her corporate job for OnlyFans, and revealed that her daughter has also started adult modelling.
The US woman, who calls herself Mrs Robinson, has shot with high-end porn companies, as well as selling content on OnlyFans.
But rather than starting out webcamming or by modelling on Instagram, the adult star had spent most of her life in a corporate job before she embarked on an unusual career change.
Mrs Robinson shared her story when she appeared recently on the No Jumper podcast.
During the episode, she was even joined by her daughter as the pair discussed life working in the adult industry.
“My claim to fame is I’m just an average mum who has a naughty side,” Mrs Robinson began.
“The reality of it is, I had a marketing career, I went to grad school, I have a masters degree… I started off as a teacher and then I had kids and ended off going into marketing.”
Eventually, the ex-marketer was persuaded to quit her job when a friend offered her a chance to collaborate on a video on his OnlyFans account.
She was wowed by the amount of money he had been making on the platform.
So, when Mrs Robinson eventually retired from her 9-5, the adult performer suggested that she had used her marketing experience to develop a niche.
“I’m 51.. There aren’t any of me, so it’s harder for the younger girls to get involved because the competition is so fierce,” she observed.
“My fans love me being old and when the kids say to me, ‘she’s so f***ing old she could be my grandma out of the nursing home’, I’m like, ‘yeah, that’s my schtick’.”
Despite wanting to grapple with her own insecurities about what people think of her, the single mum did accept that she had initially worried about how her children might react to her decision.
But, she revealed that her mind was made up when she received a positive response.
The OnlyFans bombshell remembered: “What sparked it for me was that moment when my kids said, ‘why do you care when people think?’"
In fact, Mrs Robinson revealed that her children had been so comfortable with their mother’s decision that her daughter Amber Blake had also started in the industry.
“My daughter went to college, she got her bachelor of fine arts and musical theatre, she is a singer by trade,” she explained.
But, when Amber’s job working on a cruise ship was hampered by the initial coronavirus lockdown, she suggested to her mum that she might start her own OnlyFans channel.
“That messed with me for a minute, but then I was like how can I say anything?” She recalled.
And, despite accepting her daughter’s desire to follow in her footsteps, Mrs Robinson emphasised that the pair had no intention of working together on a shoot.
“People are always asking, ‘are you going to f***your daughter?’ and the answer’s no… I have never, and she will never work with me, we don’t see each other naked," she explained.
