A mum has shared pictures of the room-sized advent calendar she made for her kids, including fake snow, penguins and boxes filled with treats and presents.
Photos show a veritable winter wonderland, with the room transformed into a snowy grotto.
A blow-up snowman, reindeer and penguin toys overlook a room with fake snowballs on the ground and light-up icicles hanging from the walls.

The pictures were shared on the Facebook group Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas where the idea was met with praise.
The caption reads: ‘Last year I made a giant advent calender which my boys loved we was doing a very special reveal so all the stuff inside related to that but thought I would share as I know 2020 is a bit different and people are looking for ideas!!’
As well as pictures of the grotto-like advent calendar, she shared a list of the goodies inside each of the boxes,
Among them were socks, a snowball thrower, slippers, chocolate bars, teddy bears, a make-your-own snowman kit and personalised Santa hats.
The 23rd box, which was the biggest, contained balloons which were attached to an elf and a letter form Santa.
Commenters were very keen on the idea, which one writing: ‘This is so lovely! What a wonderful idea!’
Another wrote: ‘Love this idea for a big reveal!!’
