A millionaire couple are offering you the chance to win their plush £3m home for just £25 – and will give an Aston Martin to the runner-up.
Company director Mark Beresford and wife Sharon announced their plans in April to give one lucky punter their six-bed riverside Hampshire home.
And over the past week they have seen a surge in ticket sales with people buying them as Christmas presents.
They believe the extra incentive of a brand new £160,000 Aston Martin DB 11 as a prize for the runner-up has increased temptation to buy a ticket.
The Beresfords want to part with the ‘Huf Haus’ called Avon Place, near Ringwood because their three children have flown the nest and they want to move closer to family in East Sussex.
They tried to sell the property through estate agents but struggled because of stamp duty so decided to raffle it.
The couple need to sell 120,000 tickets to reach the £3m value of their home and the deadline is December 31.
Interest was initially slow but after Black Friday and Cyber Monday – the biggest online shopping day of the year – the sales shot up 70 per cent on the previous week.
And with the deadline for sales on New Year’s Eve it is thought people are now snapping up the tickets as they make an unusual Christmas present for a loved one.
If not enough tickets are sold the winner will receive a high percentage of monies collected.
The couple bought the plot, which had a bungalow on it, 12 years ago and built the luxury house, which came from Germany in ready-made pieces that they watched get slotted together on site.
The Beresfords had initially intended to sell the property but fell in love with it and decided to raise their children Eleanor, Amelia and Max in it.
They say it has been a great family home but the children are now grown up, aged 26, 25 and 23.
The luxurious property has six double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, seven reception rooms that include a games and snooker room, a cinema room with a 65in screen and multiple sitting rooms.
The kitchen is also high tech and modern with several state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances included. There are vibrant red units as well as a stylish breakfast bar and marble tiles.
Outside, there is a bespoke-built BBQ house in the landscaped gardens.
There is parking in the form of a block of four garages and the mega home also enjoys 60ft of direct frontage of the River Avon along with fishing rights.
Mr Beresford, 61, who made his money turning around failing businesses, said: "We had intended to sell the house but after moving in we fell in love with it and the children adored it so we stayed.
"It’s been a wonderful family home; it’s great for entertaining and we have some amazing parties here.
"It comes with fishing rights and there is a huge amount of wildlife; it’s like living in a treehouse.
"Some people don’t believe this is a genuine offer but it really is.
"We saw a spike in sales over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend and it indicates that people are buying tickets as Christmas presents.
"We didn’t really expect any impact from these half-contrived retail stunts, but actually I’m converted.
"We saw a 70 per cent increase in sales, mainly from the UK but a number of countries abroad as well.
"The odds are really good when you compare it with other lotteries and big prize draws.
"And with the last day for ticket sales on December 31 people are realising there is not long to go to be in with a chance."
The draw will be made on January 9. To enter go to winamegahome.co.uk.
