Play was suspended on the second day of the Masters with footage showing a tree collapsing near spectators.
Amid strong winds and stormy weather at Augusta National, golf fans scrambled to get out of the way as the pine tree collapsed near the 17th hole.
Sky Sports News report no spectators were injured in the incident.
Play was suspended for second time on Friday due to the weather with players brought in from the course and spectators evacuated.
A statement read: ‘Due to inclement weather conditions, Augusta National Golf Club was forced to suspend play at 4:22 p.m. EDT and, subsequently, evacuated the grounds.
‘Further updates will be announced once available.’
The fallen tree collapsed into the fairway with Augusta staff equipped with chainsaws beginning the process of chopping it up and removing the debris ahead of action resuming on Saturday.
