It seems the queen of daytime TV is taking her style cues from the Duchess of Cambridge.
Lorraine Kelly, 58, wore a navy polka dot dress on Wednesday’s Lorraine that looked strikingly similar to the designer frock Kate wore in official photos released to mark her father-in-law Prince Charles’ 70th birthday last week.
Lorraine’s mid-length shirt dress from Zara looked almost identical to the Duchess’ Alessandra Rich number, but costs just a fraction of the price at £39.99.
Kate, 36, dazzled in the dress as she posed with her husband William and their three children, Harry and Meghan, and Charles and Camilla for a series of portraits captured in the gardens at Clarence House.

The TV presenter’s dress has strikingly similar features to the £1,750 designer number, such as a contrasting white shirt collar, long sleeves and matching white cuffs.
The vintage-inspired dress features a flattering elastic waistband, a pleated skirt and a button-up front.

When Kate chose the Alessandra Rich dress for her father-in-law’s birthday photo shoot, royal fans pointed out she’s not the first in the family to wear the style.
Diana, who was 24 at the time, wore a similar navy midi dress featuring large white collars and a bow at the front, for a photograph taken at her home at Kensington Palace back in 1985.

Fans quickly pointed out the similarities between the two dresses, with one commenting: ‘I knew that dress look familiar!’
Kate may have also taken inspiration from Abigail Spencer, a former Suits co-star of her sister-in-law Meghan, who wore the same Alessandra Rich dress to the royal wedding back in April.
And the Duchess’ younger sister, Pippa, chose an Alessandra Rich shirt dress with a similar exaggerated collar for the christening of her new nephew Prince Louis in July.
