If you have a pulse and a Netflix account, chances are you’ve watched To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before several hundred times. The YA rom-com was released just a few days ago, and its popularity has catapulted actors Lana Conor and Noah Centineo into legit super-stardom.
And yeah, it’s sorta weird when you go from not being that famous to having 2 million Instagram followers basically overnight. Especially when The Rock casually starts tweeting at you—which is what just happened to Lana. Here’s what went down:
Phase one: Lana innocently tagged the rock in a tweet, like we all do on a daily basis (no, just me?)
Fitness goals = @TheRock current state = pic.twitter.com/MNO0nqe0jt
Phase two: The Rock, clearly a TATBILB fan, tweeted back:
?? you got this LC!! ??❤️
Phase three: Lana flipped her shit on Insta Stories over what she should tweet back, and ended up going with this:
I just had a vision of you singing me Moana as I bench press and me crying tears of absolute bliss #TheRockforpresident
Phase four: Fans immediately petitioned The Rock to join the TATBILB sequel:
imagine: the rock makes a cameo in to all the boys I’ve loved before sequel…don’t know where why or how he’d fit but make it happen
And overly militant gym teacher at the school
Who is also the sensitive drama club teacher
*Cut to me tweeting @ The Rock only to realize I am not the star of a popular YA rom-com and an online banter about Moana is never gonna happen between us*
