Though she has always been well-liked, Catherine, Duchess of Sussex has emerged as a true leader in the British royal family in recent months. Amid Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s exit, Kate has honed in on her patronages and presented a united front with her husband, Prince William.
Now, as the British royal family continues their royal duties virtually amid quarantine, the duchess’ schedule has become increasingly hectic as she and Prince William present a warm and comforting image to the British press and public.
From her Zoom calls to her candid talks about homeschooling her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, Kate is being heralded as the perfect Queen Regent. Royal experts are saying her sheer will to survive will make her the perfect person to stand by Prince William’s side in the future.

Kate Middleton did not always have the best work ethic
Though Meghan, Duchess of Sussex threw herself into her royal duties the moment she and Prince Harry got engaged, Kate was able to ease into things. In fact, even after she and the prince wed following nearly 10 years of dating, her schedule was not always robust.
Because she was able to move into the role slowly, it probably helped her prepare to stick it out for the long run, unlike her sister-in-law. Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth reportedly didn’t take to kindly to Kate’s modified schedule in the beginning.
“Queen Elizabeth had grave concerns and believed that Kate needed to have a job and an identity in her own right before an engagement was announced,” royal expert Katie Nicholl explained to Express.

Kate Middleton is willingly to transform the British royal family slowly
The Sussexes left the British royal family because their attempts to modernize the royal family fell on deaf ears. The Duchess of Cambridge in contrast has always leaned toward tradition. “She knows the importance of the institution and her role to play,” an insider told People. “She knows that being a member of the royal family is a bit like having a contract, you sign on the dotted line and you deliver Kate is in her element right now, she’s really stuck at it and persevered with what she believes in.”
However, that doesn’t mean that the Cambridges aren’t reconsidering some of the foundations the royal family was built on. In fact, they are already beginning to shake the table, especially when it comes to the royals’ stiff upper lip policy. Kate recently found herself embroiled in rumors that she was feeling “exhausted and trapped” in her increased role. Kensington Palace issued a rare and swift rebuttal to the rumors. “This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication,” they said in a statement.

Kate Middleton has a ‘ruthless’ survival streak
Now, one alleged insider is claiming that Kate’s willingness to keep her head down in the royal family has enabled her to thrive.
“I’ve spent quite a lot of time around Kate and she is impenetrable,” the source told Tatler Magazine. “There is nothing to like or dislike. She has a ruthless survival streak, just like the House of Windsor. It’s why she is so well suited. She keeps her head down because the prize of being queen is so great. She models herself on the Queen and now speaks like the Queen.”
