‘Here are three things that I need you to lie about in every interview,’ she said at the beginning of the clip.
The first lie she recommended you tell was why you’re leaving your job.
‘Number one, if you’re leaving your job because you really dislike it, you don’t get along with your boss or your colleagues, you’re going to lie about this,’ she said.
Bonnie added that you should avoid telling potential employers that your coworkers or your boss didn’t like you because it would make you seem ‘difficult.’
‘Instead, you’re going to say something like, “Things are going great, but I want to take on bigger challenges,”‘ she said.
Next, the job recruiter told viewers to fib about why they wanted the position.
‘Look y’all, 100 per cent of people who want a job want it because of the money and benefits. It’s not a unique answer and it doesn’t actually differentiate you from anyone,’ she explained.
‘And it’s a big red flag to them because they think that’s all you care about if that’s only thing you come up with.’

The third and final thing you should lie about, according to the job recruiter, is your long-term plans.
‘What every company wants is top talent that is going to stay and grow with them,’ Bonnie said.
At the end of the video, the career expert notes that ‘recruiters aren’t dumb’ and know that many times they will get lies as responses.
However, she said it’s all about ‘differentiating’ yourself.
