In case you missed it due to a general feeling of IDGAF when it comes to Eminem, he and rapper Machine Gun Kelly are currently beefing. Or are they? Fans on Twitter are in full conspiracy theory mode over Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly’s recent feud—but before we get to that, here’s a quick run-down on their ~negative vibes~ just so we’re on the same highly dramatic page.
Eminem and MGK’s feud goes back to 2012, when MGK tweeted that Eminem’s daughter Hailie was “hot as fuck.” Six years later, Eminem dissed MGK on his track “Not Alike,” rapping “And I’m talkin’ to you / but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly / I don’t use sublims and sure as fuck don’t sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”
MGK then slammed Eminem on “Rap Devil,” prompting Eminem to drag his rival in an interview and muse, “You know how many fucking rappers are better than you? You’re not even in the fucking conversation.”
Honestly, he sounds genuinely pissed, but fans smell a publicity stunt:
Just to let you know how business works…Eminem and MGK are both signed to INTERSCOPE RECORDS…if I have to say anymore to explain this you’re too stupid to by my fb friend
Eminem and MGK are both signed to Interscope and both used Ronny J as a producer on their diss tracks.#AlbumPromo
That it’s all a ploy to get both of their sales up because they are both under interscope records and thats the only reason; MGK has a new EP on the 21st
Emiem/MGK beef is a scam to promote their albums. (Kamikaze and Binge). Ronny J and Ronald Spence Jr. are the same person. He co-wrote and produced “Rap Devil” for MGK and did production on “Not Alike” (Eminem’s diss to MGK on Kamikaze) and “The Ringer” for Eminem. pic.twitter.com/Fum4RWQ0GW
MGK & Interscope Records staged this beef with Eminem so he can get buzz they told MGK ahead of time that Eminem was coming out with a surprise album Eminem had no idea about it but it’s designed to work in both their favor especially MGK’s
Will somebody explain this? MGK’s diss was uploaded 6 months ago, it was just private until Sep 8.
This proves one of the following:
1) MGK had Eminem diss song long ago and was ready to release it as soon as Eminem mentioned him.
2) Beef is staged.
Doubt second option. pic.twitter.com/N1klfMRy5W
Damn, nothing warms the heart like a pop culture conspiracy! But IDK, are Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly really faking their beef?
