DELIVEROO is expanding and is launching in 10 new towns this week across the UK.
It means households in Wigan, Warrington, Mansfield and Harlow will be able to order from the takeaway firm this week.
Homes in Burton upon Trent, Nuneaton, Chesterfield, Middlesbrough, and Dudley will also be able to order to from this week.
Deliveroo is already available in 200 towns and cities in the UK.
Along with a range of well-known high street brands, including Pizza Express, Wagamama, Zizzi, KFC and Five Guys, it also delivers to a long list of independent restaurants.
The company, which acts as a middleman between restaurants and customers, was founded in 2013 and 17,000 restaurants are signed up to it in the UK.
Around the world there are more than 80,000 restaurants on board and it is available in more than 500 towns and cities across 14 different countries.
Its headquarters are in London, where it employs 2,500 people.
It charges £3 on average for each food delivery but has a premium service called Deliveroo Plus which offers unlimited delivery costs for a price of £11.49 per month, after a 14-day free trial.
UberEats offers a similar service, with well-known brands on board including McDonald's and Subway, along with a range of smaller independent restaurants.
It charges £3.50 per delivery and is available in a number of UK towns and cities across the UK including London, Oxford and Birmingham.
The taxi firm launched its food arm in 2016 in London but is also available in cities across the world.
With both Deliveroo and UberEats customers can choose to add an extra tip which goes directly to the person delivering the food.
The two firms also offer deals to new customers. These include an offer at UberEats for 25 per cent off when you order for the first time.
While at Deliveroo there’s deals knocking £2.50 off your first two orders.
The other big delivery firm offering this service is JustEat. It works in the same way and its delivery fee depends on the customer's location and the restaurant they're ordering from. It was launched in 2001 in Denmark and now operates in 13 different countries linking local takeaway restaurants with hungry customers.
JustEat offers between 10 and 30 per cent off selected takeaways and often cuts out the delivery fee completely.
When searching for a restaurant on the website or app, you’ll need to put in your postcode and restaurants with a discount will be flagged up.
