There’s something about Halloween that screams creativity. Nothing is off limits, and with each passing year, it seems people stretch the limits further and further. Aside from the outrageous costumes that pop up each year (this couch potato one will forever be my favorite), stores are seriously picking up their home decor game for the holiday. This year, I blame Target, Pier 1, and now TJ Maxx, for forcing me to add “spooky chic” to my vocabulary — and I don’t hate it.
Whether you like your house scary or “spooky chic,” anything goes for All Hallows Eve. Your kitchen will (hopefully) be filled with candy bowls, your porch will be covered in pumpkins, and thanks to TJ Maxx, your living room will be buried in festive throw pillows. Proceed with caution, lest you send your savings to an early grave.
