BAILEYS fans are in for a treat because the Irish cream flavoured yule log is back in shops – more than two months before Christmas.
The boozy treat is made from a soft chocolate sponge filled with chocolate flavour frosting and then coated with milk chocolate.
This is then topped with a Baileys frosting and finished with bronze coloured chocolate curls.
The 480g logs, which serve eight, are up for grabs for £5 on Asda's website as well as in stores, where it was spotted by Instagram account NewfoodsUK.
They proved popular and the post has so far racked up almost 1,500 likes and loads of comments from Baileys fans.
One user said: "Arghhh I want it," while another tagged her friend and simply wrote: "Maaaaaate all the Baileys."
The treats were sold at Tesco for the same price last year and although they're currently listed on the rival supermarket's website too, you can't actually buy them yet.
Tesco couldn't say if it would sell the treats at some point before Christmas when contacted by The Sun today, and Baileys' owner Diageo hasn't told us whether they'll roll out anywhere else either.
We've also asked whether you'll need ID to buy the boozy logs, but haven't heard back yet. We'll update this article once we do.
If you pop by Asda to get your hands on one, just keep in mind that one portion of the cake, which is a 60g serving, contains 314 calories.
Of course, if you aren't fussed about the Baileys flavour, then you can get away paying less as Tesco is selling a smaller 260g chocolate yule log for just £1.50.
This contains roughly 244 calories per 60g slice.
According to the NHS, a man needs about 2,500 calories a day while women need 2,000 calories.
Baileys recently launched a salted caramel flavour – and you can buy it in Asda, Costco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's.
While Tesco rolled out salted caramel and hot chocolate flavoured Baileys cakes.
Earlier this year, Morrisons and Tesco were both selling salted caramel Baileys Easter eggs.
