Sorry, Andy Sachs.

Fans of “The Devil Wears Prada” went wild when Anne Hathaway stepped out at New York Fashion Week last month in a nearly identical outfit to one her character wore in the film — but according to the actress, her matching moment was purely accidental.

Hathaway, 39, wore a brown crocodile-print Michael Kors jacket to the designer’s show over a chunky turtleneck dress, wearing her hair in a pulled-back style with bangs that brought back memories of Andy in the movie.

She even sat next to Anna Wintour at the show, who was the inspiration for editor-in-chief (and Andy’s boss) Miranda Priestly in “The Devil Wears Prada.”

“It was kind of nuts, wasn’t it?” Hathaway said of the outfit this morning during an appearance on the Today Show, revealing that “it was by accident” that she twinned with her famous character.

The “Princess Diaries” actress explained that she “was supposed to wear something else, the shoes didn’t fit, this was the other outfit that came.”

Even her Andy-esque hair was purely a coincidence.
