Prince William and Duchess Kate aren’t getting much rest. After all, the couple are parents of three young children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and 5-month-old Prince Louis. So while William, 36, was in Namibia for a speaking engagement, the royal made it clear that he was looking forward to an evening free of baby monitors.
“I’m delighted to be visiting Namibia for the first time. I’m only sorry that my wife Catherine is not able to join me,” he quipped at the British High Commissioner’s reception on Tuesday, September 25. “She is immensely jealous. Particularly as I’m looking forward to a few good uninterrupted nights sleep this week away from my wonderful children.”
While William is in Southern Africa, Kate is holding down the fort at the family’s Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace. A source recently told Us Weekly that George enjoys watching television — he is allowed one hour a day — and playing police officer. “He has a kit with handcuffs and a badge,” the source revealed. “It was just a cheap toy, but he loves it!”
George’s younger sister, Charlotte, has the biggest personality of all the siblings according to a source, who recently spent time with her. “She’s very bubbly,” the insider told Us of the preschooler. “And my is she polite! She’ll come up to guests at the house and ask them if they want tea or coffee or offer them sweets. So adorable.”
Charlotte also dotes on little Louis. As a Middleton family pal told Us: “She wants to help in any way she can, whether it’s passing diapers during a change or feeding him his bottle.”
