Is show business in Duke Rancic’s future? Giuliana Rancic got a hilarious surprise from her 5-year-old son as she was delivering the evening broadcast of E! News on Thursday, September 20.
Rancic, 44, posted a clip of an unexpected flub to her Instagram with the caption #momlife in which she can be seen getting into the celebrity dish with cohost Jason Kennedy as Duke sneaks onto the screen behind them.

Kennedy, 36, first caught a glimpse of the little guy as he came around the corner before letting out a giggle, saying “Your son is behind us.”
Upon noticing his presence, Rancic grabbed Kennedy’s arm and quipped, “Oh my god. Duke. I did not know Duke was [right there.]”
Rancic then approached her child — who was full on dancing his way across the screen — sweetly saying, “Hi honey, mommy’s working,” while attempting to escort him backstage. “Literally this was not the plan.”
Kennedy, who couldn’t contain his laughter, attempted to get back to the broadcast as Duke continued to groove his way around behind him.
Once the Italian native was finally able to lure him off the screen, Kennedy jokingly shouted, “Let me help, here’s your babysitter!”
Commenters couldn’t help but gush over the relatability of Rancic’s son — whom she shares with husband Bill Rancic — making an unexpected appearance.
“Can Duke please make an appearance at least once a week @giulianarancic ? my kids loved this and he just loves life,” one wrote.
Another added of the funny moment: “@giulianarancic i had to rewind this 20+ times last night ??! Duke should be part of e! News every night.”
