Proud doesn’t begin to describe the look on Tom Brady’s face when he was honored during a “Thank You” celebration at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on Sept. 10. He attended the special halftime ceremony during a game between the New England Patriots, where Brady played for 20 seasons before retiring in Feb. 2023, and the Philadelphia Eagles. What made the moment even more special? He had all three of his kids by his side in a rare public appearance.

Tom Brady Opened Up About Feeling ‘Lucky’ During His Career
At one point, Brady leaned over to kiss his daughter on the head and hug her around the neck in a sweet father-daughter moment.
Brady posted about the experience on Instagram today. “I’ve talked a lot about how lucky I feel to have spent my life surrounded by such incredible people,” he said. “Yesterday was just another reminder of that. Coming back to New England to celebrate what WE accomplished was so special, and it’s a day that I’ll never forget. Being able to spend time with teammates, family, friends, coaches, and most importantly all the fans of Patriot nation is something that I’ll never take for granted.”
He added, “We won a whole lot of games up here… and believe it or not we had a whole lot of fun doing it. I’m so lucky to have been a New England Patriot. Foxboro Forever.”
Brady also shared several more photos of his kids, who were featured on the big screen at Gillette Stadium during the ceremony.

Benjamin Is Playing Football
Earlier this month, Brady revealed that his son “Benny” started playing football for the first time.
“I was like, ‘What do you wanna play?’ And he was like, ‘Tight end. I wanna be like Gronk!’” Brady said in an episode of Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitztgerald and Jim Gray, talking about his former teammate Rob Gronkowski. “So I actually texted Gronk and I’m like, ‘Yo, my boy wants to be like you!’ And he loved it.”
Brady’s kids may not want to be exactly like their old man, but their love for their dad is obvious. The way they showed up to support him is so sweet!
