This Group of Influencer Moms Created a Line of Ulta-Flattering Swimwear Made for Chasing After the Kids

Summer is finally here, which means many of us will be hitting the pool for some fun in the sun and much-needed relief from the heat. But when you’re a mom, a relaxing day poolside can easily turn into hours of chasing the kids around everywhere. After all, who else but mom is going to make sure everyone is reapplying sunscreen when they need to? Because of this, moms need swimsuits that aren’t only practical, but comfortable to wear and make them feel confident and cute. Enter, STYLEST.

The swimwear brand was created by fashion experts Joyann King Michael, Alia Bosworth and Chrissy McCurdy, who came together after realizing that here was a gap in the industry that needed to be filled. As the three STYLEST co-founders told SheKnows, “We realized the biggest problem women face are their lifestyles and bodies evolving, but their wardrobe options not keeping up. Specifically when it comes to finding swimwear! We created STYLEST as a system of pieces that fill the gap that’s missing from a woman’s swim wardrobe.”

For Michael, Bosworth, and McCurdy, swim bras that provide lift and support while in the water was something so many women needed but just couldn’t find. In fact, the idea for STYLEST actually started at a pool party when the three got to talking and realized that McCurdy had been secretly wearing a bra under her swimsuit for years.

“As former fashion editors, stylists, and buyers, we were inspired by this genius idea and came together to create a sculpting swimwear line featuring the first ever Aqualingerie™ (swim bras engineered to be worn under your swimsuit) to empower poolside confidence,” the co-founders said.

In addition to swim bras, the brand also has ultra-flattering, sculpting swimsuits and innovative cover-ups that “work their magic from the kiddie pool to a trip with the girls.” In fact, everything the brand makes keeps moms in mind, especially new moms who may be struggling with all the changes happening to their body all at once.

“Our brand is built on offering women solutions that boost their confidence,” the co-founders said. “For us, postpartum means designing for mothers with children of all ages.
