Union shared a gallery of pics that featured herself and Wade, 36, bonding with their baby girl in the hospital. She also included lyrics from Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day” in her caption.

The couple tied the knot in April 2014. She is already stepmom of the NBA player’s sons from previous relationships: Zaire, 16, Zion, 11, and Xavier, 4. The athlete’s nephew Dahveon Morris, 17, also lives with the family.

The Being Mary Jane alum has been open about her struggles with fertility. “I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote in her 2017 book, We’re Going to Need More Wine. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

She continued: “For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?’ A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”

Wade showed support for Union after she shared her story, tweeting in October 2017: “My wife is one strong individual!!!”
