See The Challenge's Camila Nakagawa's Son Kai's Nursery: 'Nature Vibes'

All natural! Camila Nakagawa has created a nursery that her 1-month-old son, Kai, can feel “safe” in.

“Baby Kai is absolutely in love with his nursery,” the Challenge alum, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, August 19, of the room, designed by Evolur and photographed by Larissa Nakagawa. “Going through pregnancy and labor during [the coronavirus] pandemic had its challenges and having a special space for him to feel safe in was definitely a must. Even though I am no decorator … I just wanted to create a space that was gender-neutral to allow us to adapt it to his personality as the years go by while bringing in some nature vibes.”

The Brazil native went on to say that nature is “an important aspect” of her life, adding, “I cannot wait to go on all the adventures with my little guy.”

The MTV personality welcomed her baby boy last month. “He’s here,” Nakagawa captioned a July Instagram video. “Meet baby Kai Aiden, the love of my life.”

The footage came five months after the Spring Break Challenge winner’s pregnancy reveal. “No words,” she wrote alongside her baby bump debut in February. “I never thought it was possible to be this in love.”

The new mom “cannot wait to watch him grow … and see what his personality will be like,” she told Us on Wednesday. “To me, life has just begun and it has gotten a whole new meaning. I had no idea love like this existed, Kai makes me a better person every single day.”

Since her baby boy’s arrival, Nakagawa has been documenting his early days via Instagram. “So far, Kai is turning out to be a VERY hungry boy very much [like] his momma,” she wrote earlier this month. “Baby is growing wayyyy to fast for mommas taste, but what can I say, he just can’t wait to be up and dancing with momma.”
