White hot! Rebel Wilson stunned in a white swimsuit for an underwater photo shoot.
“Don’t ever doubt my mermaid abilities,” the 40-year-old actress wrote on Sunday, August 16, via Instagram.
In the photos, Wilson rocked a one-piece bathing suit as she posed underwater in a pool. Hours earlier, the Pitch Perfect star made headlines for showing off her slimmer waist in a bright yellow dress.
Wilson first revealed in May via Instagram that she had a new weight loss goal.
“Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going x it will be worth it. Try and give a little bit of effort each day,” she wrote on May 25. “I know some days are frustrating as hell, you feel like giving up, you get annoyed at the lack of progress … but good things are coming your way.”
The Australian actress went on to say that she was hoping to slim down to 75 kilograms, which equates to 165 pounds.
“I’ll be honest with you guys — with my ‘Year of Health’ mission, I’m trying to get to 75kg’s and career-wise, [I] am trying to get one of my movies into production before the end of the year!” Wilson wrote, noting that she was “working hard” amid her “constant setbacks.”
The Isn’t It Romantic star has been open about her fitness journey in recent years, working with personal trainer Gunnar Peterson.
“[Rebel] never misses [a workout],” Peterson told Us Weekly exclusively in March 2019. “Comes in even on travel days and right when she gets back. She is locked in!”
The celebrity trainer noted at the time that Wilson does “lots of strength work with dynamic intervals spliced throughout.”
He explained: “Think sled work, Technogym’s SkillRun treadmill with sled and parachute protocols, focus mitts, moving kicks to pads, rope work, vertical rope work, sledgehammers … Any and everything to keep her body guessing and her mind engaged!”
