Missing out on the big days as a parent is never easy, and with a jam-packed schedule like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s, we’re impressed they only miss a couple at most! Sadly, though, 2023 marks the second year in a row that Harry missed out on celebrating his birthday with his two beloved kiddos, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Since the 2023 Invictus Games were in full swing in early Sept, Harry ended up spending his 39th birthday in Germany so he’d be able to do the closing ceremony alongside Meghan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex their Santa Barbara home last week for the Invictus Games, and left their kids Archie and Lilibet back home in the US.

Because of this, Harry wasn’t able to spend his birthday with his kids again this year, marking the second time he wasn’t able to celebrate with Archie and making it that he’s never celebrated his birthday with Lilibet.
Last year, Harry turned 38 alongside Meghan during the official mourning period for Queen Elizabeth.
Hopefully, he can celebrate with his kids in 2024!
So Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and were later married in 2018. They share two children together named Archie, born May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born June 2021.
