Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff has been mom-shamed before (Think wearing ripped jeans to the pediatrician’s office.) Now, Audrey’s husband, Jeremy Roloff, is under fire after he shared an Instagram photo of himself playfully tossing the couple’s 13-month-old daughter Ember in the air.
“Idiot. She’s not a circus act,” wrote one person in the comments. Added another: “Wow. Be careful throwing your kid like that.” A third fan warned the TLC personality about shaken baby syndrome while a fourth suggested that the move is harmful to “little brains.”
Though Jeremy has not responded to the criticism, plenty of people came to his defense. As one perfectly pointed out: “Accidents can happen doing anything. Can’t stop living life because ur scared to actually have fun. Most babies like being tossed din the air, so take a seat.”
Ember is clearly just fine. Jeremy posted a series of pictures from their trip to Franklin, Tennessee, and in the next snap, the toddler is seen smiling.
Jeremy and the barre instructor announced in July that they are leaving the reality series. “After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come,” Jeremy wrote on Instagram. “It’s been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.”
The Oregon-based pair tied the knot in September 2014. “You continue to impress me. Getting to know you, re-learn you, and partner with you has been an adventure, and all things considered,” Jeremy gushed in a social media tribute on their four-year anniversary. “It’s just the beginning.”
