Baby carriers are the sweetest convenience, as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes well knows. The proud dad shared a photo of himself wearing his infant daughter Sterling and yes, our hearts are melting.
On Wednesday, Mahomes posted a shot of himself on Instagram Stories wearing his 7-month-old baby girl, whom he shares with fitness instructor Brittany Matthews. Both parents have taken to gushing over their new addition by sharing photos of her on social media. In the new image, first shared by Matthews, Mahomes looks down at his daughter, who sits in an animal-print carrier, while she plays with his necklace.
Last week, the couple celebrated Sterling’s 7-month milestone with a series of Instagram photos. One by Matthews was captioned, “This girl makes every day worth it and just fills my heart with so much love.” Aww!
Earlier this month, Sterling joined her parents to cheer on her dad as he played a football game against the Cleveland Browns, wearing a gold diaper and wore a matching bow on her head. “Hi everybody just here to cheer on my daddy @patrickmahomes,” Matthews captioned an Instagram photo of herself and her daughter.
Matthews in particular has shared pieces of life with Sterling including her sleep schedule, postpartum exhaustion, and even hinted at common “mama struggles.” But despite being new at this mom-and-dad game, the couple clearly prioritizes their romance. Last week, Matthews shared a shot of her giving Mahomes the sweetest on-field kiss.
