If you have family members with a soft spot for underdogs attempting the impossible, then grab couch time this September with Netflix’s line up.
You have a garden snail, voiced by Ryan Reynolds, in “Turbo,” that wants to win the Indy 500. You have a chronically slouchy tall girl in — what else — “Tall Girl” who meets her potential match in a hot foreign exchange student but gets caught in a love triangle, and you have a diminutive hobbit in the “The Two Towers” and “Return of the King” from the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy trying to save Middle Earth.
Check out Netflix’s best family programming for September. Also, see the month’s entire list of Netflix offerings, which includes Ryan Murphy’s first Netflix series, “The Politician,” starring Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange.
