It’s a girl! Married at First Sight’s Danielle Bergman and Bobby Dodd have welcomed their first child, Us Weekly can confirm.
Baby Olivia Nicole weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and is 19 inches long. She arrived just in time for her daddy’s birthday on Tuesday, February 26, the new mom confirmed to Us.
In October 2018, the reality stars revealed that they were expecting a baby on their joint Instagram account. “We are so excited to finally share our big news with everyone,” Bergman, 30, and Dodd, 27, captioned the pic, which featured the couple, their two dogs and an ultrasound shot.
The announcement included pink handprints and tiny sandals, making it clear that they had a baby girl on the way.
Bergman gave Us Weekly an exclusive look at her maternity photo shoot in January. The mom-to-be cradled her baby bump in a tight black dress, sporting a tan floppy hat and matching ankle boots. Her husband made an appearance in the pregnancy pics as well, his hand’s over his wife’s belly and their wedding rings on display.
“I can definitely feel my body getting ready for her arrival,” the pregnant star told Us. “I’m more tired than ever, but also anxious!”
She added: “Bobby and I are spending our final days in seclusion enjoying each other’s company before the chaos begins.”
The couple’s pregnancy played out on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After, as they figured out whether Bergman would be a stay-at-home mom. While that’s what the women in Dodd’s family had done, the account executive wanted to keep working. And she will!
“I think it could be healthy for the kid, but ultimately, whatever Danielle is happy with … is what it’s going to be,” the project manager said on an episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered. “Danielle is a really hard worker. She’s got a great career — has had one for a really long time. And if she chooses to pursue that, then more power to her.”
Married at First Sight (produced by Kinetic Content) airs on Lifetime Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
