Actress Kirsten Dunst said bring on the work.
The “Bring it On” and “Spider-Man” actress welcomed a son with actor husband Jesse Plemons in May 2018. Dunst is set to appear in the Showtime series “On Becoming a God In Central Florida” and during the Television Critics Association Summer 2019 Press Tour recently said life on the set is easier than being a full-time mom.
“I’m just tired all the time,” Dunst, 37, said as she promoted the project with costars Mel Rodriguez, Beth Ditto and Theodore Pellerin reported People.
In the dark comedy series, Dunst stars as Krystal Stubbs, a wife and mother living near Orlando, Fla. in the 90s hustling a her way to the top of pyramid scheme.
It may be tough managing a career and a child, but Dunst said the full-time mom gig had her beat.
“It’s so much easier to go back to work than it is to be a stay at home mom,” the actress said. Her mother-in-law watches her son, Ennis Howard, while she’s working. She added: “I was like, ‘bye’ to my mother-in-law. I was like, phew!”

SAHMs versus working moms
About one in five moms and dads are now stay at home parents. So is it really easier for career moms than stay-at-home moms?
Unfortunately, no one’s ever scientifically measured whether one choice is easiest. However, there is research that offers a look at working moms versus SAHMs in areas of emotional health.
A Gallup analysis of more than 60,000 U.S. women in 2012 found that SAHMs are more likely than working moms to say they experience anger or sadness. SAHMs were much more likely to experience sadness at 26% compared to employed moms at 16% and women without children, also at 16%.
The stay-at-home mom also had higher percentages of experiencing depression, anger, stress and worry than working moms.
Still, working moms have their own set of problems. Research by sociologist Caitlyn Collins revealed that U.S. mothers have it the worst out of Western industrialized nations when it comes to work-life balance. This stems from cultural and structural issues like lack of paid leave, high childcare costs, and the gender pay gap.
Either way, motherhood is equal to to having more than two full-time jobs and we feel it.
People say being a mom is a full time job right? WRONG. It is actually the equivalent of two and half full-time jobs. Buzz60's Maria Mercedes Galuppo has more.
