If what certain little birdies say is true, Princess Lilibet has a very special gift to look forward to from her grandfather, King Charles, on her second birthday.
According to Express, sources have shared King Charles’ grand plans for his youngest grandchild’s upcoming birthday on June 4. The king reportedly wants to bestow Lilibet with a gift that she “will use and [will] be hers” — a present that is supposedly inspired by her namesake grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, whose nickname was Lilibet.
Sources report that King Charles “has had his aides looking at a custom-made cubby house, similar to what the Queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.” We had no idea the monarch was so thoughtful! If the sources’ claims are accurate, a playhouse inspired by his mother and aunt is a really touching gift idea from the 74-year-old.
One source added, “[Lilibet will] remember it forever — it’s going to be the ultimate surprise.” We have to agree — a Lilibet-inspired playhouse for the family’s youngest Lilibet is a very sweet present that will not only become a core memory for the princess but will also serve as a fixture that she can play in and with for many years to come.
