Kim Kardashian Was Just Gifted This Insanely High-Tech Baby Monitor — and You Can Get It on Amazon

When it comes to the most contemporary and luxurious products in the world, Kim Kardashian’s got dibs. From her home’s design (yes, we’re talking about that basin-less sink) to her kids’ accessories (hello, mini Louis Vuitton bags!), the reality star loves to be on top of the latest must-haves. And now, she’s gotten her hands on one of the techiest baby monitors out there: the Miku Smart Baby Monitor.

Kardashian shared a snap of the three monitors (she received one for each of her kids) Wednesday evening on her Instagram Story, writing that she’s “always on the hunt for the high tech baby monitor.”

While Miku’s price tag is quite hefty at $399, it is subscription free, HSA/FSA eligible, and has some pretty impressive features that might make the investment worth it. Miku uses something called “SensorFusion technology,” which reads and tracks your baby’s breathing and sleeping patterns (without wires or wearables), plus the room’s temperature and humidity, in real time from its free app that you can download on any smartphone. The monitor’s sensors, which the company claims are “on par with hospital-grade pulse oximeters,” can “instantaneously detect interrupted, delayed, or irregular breathing and respiration patterns,” and immediately alerts parents with a notification from its app. Its custom speakers and a two-way microphone allow you to play lullabies from your phone or speak to your baby yourself.

Since the monitor launched in January, it’s received a modest number of reviews on Amazon and currently stands at an overall 4.8-star rating. But most importantly, it’s captured the hearts of several parents.

“I love this monitor! As a first time mom, just like many others, I did hours of research on all the monitors on today’s market and none of them truly compared to everything that Miku has to offer,” one mother wrote. “One of the best features is that nothing needs to be connected to or on the baby for you to get a breathing rate. That’s one less step a tired parent needs to worry about. The picture quality is great! I especially love that my parents who live far away have the ability to watch my child and be able to communicate to them. It makes being far away just a little easier.”

You can shop the Miku monitor here, but if you’re not so willing to splurge $400 on a baby monitor just yet, we rounded up some of Amazon’s more affordable best-sellers below.
