New mom jitters! Khloé Kardashian admitted she is nervous about balancing her career and her daughter, True.
“I’ve never had to juggle a baby and work at the same time, so it’ll be interesting to see how I’ll learn to handle everything,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 34, wrote on her app Tuesday, July 17. “Women do it every single day, so I know I’ll get through it — I’m just anxious because it’s the unknown.”
Kardashian is thankful for her privileged work situation, though. She added: “But I’m fortunate and blessed that I have a job where I’m allowed to bring my daughter pretty often.”
The Good American founder revealed that she is working every day this week, which she is “a little nervous” about. However, she assured her fans that she will “be OK,” because her 3-month-old is “in the best possible hands.”
Kardashian reflected on the first day she returned to work after welcoming True with boyfriend Tristan Thompson in April. “The days leading up to my very first day back were tough, but once I started going through the motions, everything fell into place,” she recalled. “It’s like riding a bike!”
She continued: “On my first day back, True was perfect while I was gone. Plus, coming home was soooo much fun — I acted like I hadn’t seen her in forever!”
The Revenge Body host was open about her trepidation before her maternity leave ended. “I’ve been thinking about the 6th, the 6th, the 6th, oh, my God, I have to start work on the 6th and I’ve been getting just anxious about it. And today I’m very anxious,” she said in a series of Snapchat videos on July 5. “I don’t know how I’m going to leave her all day tomorrow. That’s freaking me out. But I got to go back to work at some point. So I’ll be OK, right, mama?”
Kardashian later filled her Snapchat followers in on how Thompson, 27, helped make her transition smooth. “But I’m very grateful because Tristan is being a great daddy,” she said on July 6. “He has done all the feedings while I am gone.” The reality star also gave a “shout-out to all the good dads out there.”
