Teens have minds of their own, as Kelly Ripa knows.
The “Live with Kelly and Ryan” host took a turn in the guest seat on Monday’s premiere of “Jerry O'” hosted by Jerry O’Connell.
Speaking about a photo with her 18-year-old daughter, Lola Grace Consuelos, Ripa recounted how long it took to get her daughter to approve a picture.
“Took me 20 hours to get that photo,” Ripa shared. “I was like, ‘Please just give Mommy one, one photo. Just one.’”
In the image, which Ripa shared to Instagram on June 6, she smiles next to her brunette daughter, the middle child of Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos’ brood.
Lola, who finished high school this year, wears a form-fitting emerald dress with thigh-high slit and deep-v neckline, a choice that was not parent-approved.

“That’s the prom dress that we had made, and then she had altered behind our back, when we weren’t (looking),” said Ripa. “So, that’s why, you know, the girls are fully on display.”
“Everybody came down the stairs together, and I just mean Lola,” joked Ripa.
But the talk show host didn’t just call her daughter out, she also marveled at the woman she’s become: “She’s a smart girl. She’s a nice girl.”
