Living her best life! Kelly Osbourne showed off her slimmed-down figure at dinner with a friend on Thursday, August 13.
The 35-year-old daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne rocked ripped jeans, a black Chanel bomber jacket and pink converse after dining at Craig’s in Los Angeles.
Earlier this month, Osbourne revealed that she recently dropped more than 80 pounds after her famous friends were quick to compliment her Instagram selfie.
“That’s right mamma Mai I lost 85lbs since I last saw you. Can you believe it?” she replied to friend Jeannie Mai‘s mother on August 3.
The U.K. native has been open about her weight struggles in the past, first getting in shape after competing on Dancing With the Stars in 2009.
“I’d fill up on French fries and pizza all day and wonder why I wasn’t losing weight,” she shared at the time. “In the very beginning, I kept getting sick during rehearsals because I was eating such terrible, fatty food and feeling so exhausted.”
After shifting to a low-carb, high-protein diet in the ballroom, she felt more confident.
“I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that,” Osbourne, who has also been candid about her battle with substance abuse, told Us Weekly exclusively in 2010. “I’m really proud to look in the mirror and not hate every single thing I see. I no longer think, ‘Why don’t I look like this girl or that girl?’”
Following a relapse, Osbourne revealed in August 2018 that she had one year of sobriety under her belt. The former Fashion Police star confirmed she was back on track with her vegan diet at the time too.
“I really miss eating cheese so today I tried ‘vegan shell pasta and creamy sauce’ aka Mac & cheese… you can not tell the difference,” she told her social media followers in 2018. “I used to think being a vegan was boring. Now I have more fun with food now than I ever have before.”
More recently, Osbourne declared that 2020 was going to be her year after a “gut-wrenchingly difficult” 2019.
“Through all the good and bad it has been incredibly educational for me. I have come to the realization that I constantly put the needs of others before my own. I allow myself to be put in situations that make me feel uncomfortable for fear of upsetting someone else,” she wrote on New Year’s Eve. “With almost 2 1/2 years of sobriety under my belt I still struggle with confrontation (which was NEVER a problem when I was using) Well this all STOPS today. 2020 is going to be the year of me!!! It’s time to put myself first, stop taking on other peoples s–t and be the badass sober women I was born to be.”
